Sugar Bowl Challenge #30

This little Sugar Nellie I coloured with copics. Her shoes have a sheen of Dimensional Magic, and some Flowersoft next to the cuff. White background is embossed with my new Roses cuttlebug embossing folder and swiped over with pale pink ink cube to make the roses stand out. The doily also got a swipe of that too! Hope you enjoy!
This is the sketch we had to follow and the theme is Shabby Chic.

Sweet Stop Sketch

The Sweet Stop Challenge #44 Sketch Challenge, join in here http://sweetstopsketches.blogspot.com/
This week we had to use flowers with the sketch.

Cupcake

How cute is the cherry paper, as soon as I saw it I wanted to use it. The image is coloured with copic markers and I've also used the white spica marker from copic for a hint of shimmer on the cupcake, flowers aswell as the flowers on her sleeve. The close up shows it better (don't mind my colouring in job!) but it's very sublte on the overall image. This card is for the following challenges:
Cute Card Thursday - Ribbon-tastic
Cupcake Craft Challenge - Friends
The Pink Elephant Challenge - SKETCH
Stamp with fun - Stitching

Combined Challenges

Here is a very Happy Tilda. I've coloured the image with copic markers.
Some frosted lace stickles on the butterflies, button and bling flowers are coloured with copic markers.
This card I made for 3 different challenges.

Magnolia Down Under Challenges - Buttons, flowers & bows
Copic Creations - Embellishments coloured using copics.

Stamp Something - Spring theme.

Ruffles - Get Well Card

This gorgeous little cutie is Ruffles designed by Helz Cuppleditch. Perfect for get well cards. I've made this card for the Copic Colour Challenge incorporating the 3 colours required, and also the challenge at Caardvarks, which had to include stickers. My white lace strip across the centre is a sticker and also the three hearts near the bottom. I have also used Flower Soft on the bandage and pillow to create a bit more depth in the image.

So Sweet

This card was a quick one I made for the Sugar Bowl Challenge http://sugarbowlblog.blogspot.com/
We had to follow a sketch and include 1 button, 2 brads & 3 flowers.

Tri-Shutter Card

This is much easier than it looks. I followed a tutorial from All That Scraps and was very pleased with how quickly it came together. Papers are from an old Making Memories line and the cute 60's Tilda. Card is for All That Scraps,
and I've also used the colour combo required for the Copic Colour Challenge #51 http://copicscolourchallenge.blogspot.com/

Simple Birthday Card

Very late Tuesday night, (and early Wednesday morning) I made this card for my daughter for her birthday. Her favourite colour at the moment is black and she loves all things girly. I kept it very simple. The dress is a diecut made with the Slice, Big Kids design card, Imaginesce rubons, a small amount of ribbon and the handbag I cut to shape myself. On the bottom of the dress is also some gathered sheer ribbon. I'm pleased to say she loved it and didn't just throw it to the side like many other cards. She actually took the time to look at exactly what had been done, thanks Jessica! Hope you enjoyed your Birthday!

Windshield Wiper card

Have a go at this one. A 'Windshield Wiper' card with a spring theme. At first it was a little daunting, but after following the tutorial and having a play I worked it out. Yay! This is my card for the Magnolia-licious Challenge. Papers are Lucy Bird from Imaginesce and of course another cute Tilda. Play along here http://magnolia-licioushighlites.blogspot.com/

Valentines

This cute little panda is from Pink Cat Studio. Over at Wednesday Challenges the theme for this week is Valentines packaging. See it here; http://atsblog.typepad.com/wednesdayschallenge/
Great little box for some chocolates I think! Also at The Cupcake Challenge the challenge had to meet the criteria of 4 legged and furry, Ithink the panda fits. See their blog here http://cupcakecraftchallenges.blogspot.com/ I've made 2 different boxes as he is too cute and I couldn't decide which one I liked better, I've put them both up.

Summer card

This card was a rather quick one but the main aim was to have a go at feathering with copics. This is the challenge for Copic Creations. http://copiccreations.wordpress.com/ If you want to join in there is also a helpful tutorial. I decided on something Summery as it has been quite hot lately! The butterflies are a free digi stamp and the method of feathering is not too hard, a light hand & some practice helps! The them e over at Cute Card Thursday is spots & dots so I've entered this card there also. http://cutecardthursday.blogspot.com/

Handbag Invitation

My eldest daughter is turning 10 next week so we decided to let her have a sleepover party with a couple of friends. Due to the fact I didn't have to make many invitations, I could spend a little more time making the ones I did. So we made them the shape of a handbag. (very girly) Colours and & embellishments were chosen by my daughter with just a little help from me. The end result turned out pretty good, and most importantly she loves them!
